A REIN Member since March 2012, Stephen has spent 16 years in ‘the business’. He has gone from renovating kitchens and bathrooms to now building new additions to homes.

Quick to offer advice, Stephen is always happy to contribute any knowledge he has, particularly when it comes to renovations or maintenance issues. He knows exactly what company to go to if a property needs a renovation longueuil, where to get materials, how to make it affordable, he basically knows every trick in the book! He always has his peers on his mind, keeping an eye out in the field for opportunities for others. He has established solid relationships with various REIN Members this way.

It is a combination of hard work, a great work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a constant willingness to learn new techniques and come up with innovative strategies that have propelled Stephen to success. Furthermore, Stephen really understands the investor’s perspective of a balance between delivering a timely product, and achieving a profit.

A Platinum Pin award winner, Darcy joined REIN in July 2010. Darcy spent 2015 working on 8 renovations across Canada in Edmonton, Calgary, Medicine Hat, and Lacombe. He was up against problems like fire damage that required some serious fire damage restoration, mold that needed mitigation, bugs in the basement, and suites that have not been upgraded since the 80s.

One of Darcy’s largest projects in 2015 is a condo conversion in Calgary. He is taking an 11 unit two storey building and adding two units in the basement, and moving the entire south wall out five feet to add over 350 square feet to the building. That is all on top of renovating the interior and exterior.

Darcy is also an active Member of the REIN community. He participates in meetings both up on stage and in talks with other Members at the back of the room. He has been cited as a very influential and helpful person, and has, on multiple occasions, experienced REIN Members coming up to thank him for his role in their success.

A Gold Pin award winner, Jose joined REIN in January 2012, and together with REIN has harnessed his passion for real estate and advanced his real estate journey. When shopping for properties, Jose is able to look beyond paint colour and dirty carpets. He loves renovations. Jose feels like an artist when he is able to turn a dingy, dirty property into something clean and beautiful.

In addition to his renovation skills, Jose is very supportive of the Real Estate community. He actively writes articles, blog posts, and creates videos about his experiences, and is often seen at REIN meetings exchanging business cards with other Members so they can connect and assist one another. Jose has a great willingness to share his knowledge, and thereby better the Real Estate community.

Jose is able to find undervalued properties in the hot market of the GTA, and also manages to find areas where people are not looking. He is absolutely dedicated to providing the best service for his clients, and to gaining the knowledge he needs to better himself.
