The 2013 REIN Investor Awards
REIN Investors Awards
Every year REIN honours its leaders and its action takers; many of the winners are nominated and voted on by their peers. It’s not just about the number of buildings or doors that a REIN member has purchased during 2013; the awards also consider:
- Ethics
- Contribution to the REIN Community
- Contribution to other communities
- Property selection
- Financial performance
- Innovation
The following categories are awarded each year:
Michael Millenaar Memorial Leadership Award
The Michael Millenaar Memorial Leadership Award is awarded to a Member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in assisting other Members to become successful in their real estate acquisitions. He is a Mortgage Broker, but consults with and advises members well beyond the mortgage agent role by ensuring he has a clear picture of their life goals and plans (often called their Belize) so that each purchase will take them a step closer to their goals. He continues to enjoy ensuring that new investors get started on the right track, as one of the most important purchases is the first one. Sourcing financing for investors is becoming more difficult by the year, and Garth is an experienced investor mortgage agent that continues to provide this service.
